1903 Tobacco Box

A 1903 coconut shell tobacco box polished finish with short tripod feet, the domed cover with painted card flange and handwritten label inside, inscribed ‘”Tobacco Box” made from a Coker Nut by a native of the Keeling or Cocas Islands 1903’, 6in. (16.5cm.) high.
